I am an avid juicer and monk fruit user. I come up with so many great-tasting smoothie recipes that I’ve decided to share them with you guys!
I am currently on the superfood diet and try to incorporate as many green veggies as I can.
Cucumbers are my favorite due to the slight melon taste. Also, they’re extremely high in nutrition, low in carbs, and make a great filler for smoothies.
You have to be cautious using most superfoods because they are high in vitamins & minerals. Your body only needs a small number of micronutrients each day. Hence the word micro in micronutrients.
You can overdo it with micronutrients so I wouldn’t recommend juicing using the same ingredients every day.
This is the time to change things up a bit. You can get all of the nutrients your body needs through your food. Think of the color of the rainbow when trying to decide what to put into your smoothie.
Some days you can have a green smoothie, which means you will be adding leafy green veggies such as kale, avocado, cucumbers, spinach, or other green veggies or fruits to your mixture. I try to have this three times a week.
On other days you can incorporate other types of smoothies such as keto dark chocolate recipes, peanut butter, berries, or nuts. You have unlimited smoothie options when it comes to healthy fats, proteins, and complex carbs.
Veggies & fruits of all colors help to provide necessary nutrients for good health. I highly recommend juicing if you’re trying to lose weight, overcome type 2 diabetes, or just want to feel better.
